On the evening of April 22, we witnessed something far beyond a simple event. The DX Business Center set the stage for the launch of the Academy of Communicators, a visionary project by Renata Miranda in partnership with Joe Douglas, with a mission to transform the way we communicate—on stage, on camera, and in everyday life.
Over 200 guests attended the event, including entrepreneurs, content creators, members of the press, and leaders from the Brazilian community in Orlando. The energy was contagious, and the feeling was unanimous: something big is happening.
The Academy was born with a clear purpose: to develop three essential pillars for anyone looking to communicate with confidence and authenticity in today’s world—verbal communication, video production, and theater-based experiences.
Whether it’s for public speaking, pitching an idea, attending events, or simply being more comfortable on camera, strong communication is a skill every professional needs. Theater brings a complementary experience for those wanting to dive deeper into body language, creativity, and stage presence—without the pressure of becoming an actor.
During the event, Renata shared the vision with passion in her eyes. She explained that the goal is to teach in a way that’s practical, accessible, and real. “It’s not about becoming an influencer. It’s about knowing how to speak, connect, and present yourself. Communication and video are skills that anyone can—and should—develop,” she said, receiving enthusiastic support from the audience.
Joe Douglas, her business partner in the initiative, also took the stage to reinforce DX’s commitment to projects that truly make a difference. “We’re living in a time where those who can communicate well have a real advantage. And DX is all about creating environments that drive that kind of growth. The Academy is a huge step in that direction.”
